Trueiro
- Twee Muizen (Cristina Barrientos y Denís Galocha )
As if drawn from their particular dream world and from their constant tendency to show the relationship between human beings and nature, the artists Twee Muizen conquer us once again with this dynamic composition located on Gran Vía street. In the mural, the main character seems to be trying to catch with its fishing net -in Galician “trueiro”-, a kind of freedom, perhaps lost in these last two years of continuous uncertainty due to the pandemic.
A sunset, a duck, a whale, or animals that clearly show the Galician origin of the artists, such as the cow or the rooster, can be found in a composition in which warm colors, such as oranges, browns and reds, are combined with cool ones, like green or blue, to create an attractive palette.
